Victoria Watson is the Director of Policy and Engagement at Forward Arkansas and has been with the organization since November 2021. Victoria is a graduate of Mena High School and resides with her husband in Farmington.

Victoria previously served as the Assistant Director of K-12 Education Relationships at the Philanthropy Roundtable. Before joining the Roundtable, Victoria served as the Associate Policy Director at the Foundation for Excellence in Education (ExcelinEd). Victoria also previously worked for an Arkansas Member of Congress and managed his education policy portfolio.

Victoria received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics from Washington and Lee University, where she minored in both Education Policy and Poverty and Human Capability Studies. Through her studies, Victoria engaged in classroom instruction and observation as a Teacher Assistant at Chesterfield County Elementary (Richmond, VA), a Children’s Defense Fund Freedom School Teacher (Marvell, AR), and a Teacher Assistant at Waddell Elementary and Woods Creek Montessori (Lexington, VA).
