Emily has spent 20 years working with children in families in various professional roles. The past 15 years she has been trained in evidenced based mental health treatments to treat trauma in youth ages 0-17. Strongest passion is with those involved with the court at DCFS. She has trained School Resource Officers, Juvenile Judges and attorneys, mental and medical health professionals, school staff, DCFS workers and many more on how to work with children and families who have experiences of trauma and adverse events. Her Bachelors of Science was received from the University of Southern Mississippi and Masters of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
