Sheila Chastain is the Child Nutrition Unit, Associate Director Finance and Training.  She has been assigned to various positions within the Child Nutrition Unit for the last 27 years.  Ms. Chastain supervises a group 5 professionals within the Child Nutrition Unit who will provide approximately $280 million reimbursement to Arkansas School Districts in Fiscal Year 2023.  She is responsible for the Culinary Directions Child Nutrition Manager and Director Training Program.  Sheila holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Central Arkansas and credentials as a Registered Dietitian from the Commission on Dietetic Registration, a licensed Arkansas teacher, and School Nutrition Specialist from the School Nutrition Association.  She is a certified instructor and test proctor for ServSafe®.
