Dr. Cheryl May, Director of the Arkansas Criminal Justice Institute, will share the impact of recent legislation on the School Resource Officer Program as well as school safety as a whole. Learn more about the training requirements of SROs and Administrators as well as reporting information. The Model Memorandum of Understanding for a School Resource Officer Program will also be discussed. This document is a guideline for schools and local law enforcement agencies as they outline the details of an SRO Program agreement.
