Come hear from our 2021-22 STEM Model Pilots schools. Learn what the process is like to earn this coveted distinction in your school. The AR STEM Model Program connects Arkansas' STEM education system to Arkansas careers and career training opportunities. It is based on the Federal STEM Program to build strong foundations in STEM literacy, increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM education, and prepare students for the future STEM workforce. The AR STEM Model Program is a designation that individual schools can receive from DESE. Any schools that are interested in learning more about the designation process, expectations, and overview of the AR STEM Model Program are invited to attend and learn more in this session. We will cover the application process, rubric overview, and site visit expectations for each school.

My passion is helping students and teachers find and follow their own passions in becoming lifelong learners. I absolutely love what I do, and I believe that all students can be successful through making, tinkering, and project based learning.
