Approaching three decades in educational roles in Arkansas, I have served in a variety of roles in K-12 settings (e.g., math teacher, tutor; instructional facilitator; curriculum/assessment, professional development, federal programs, English as a second language, mentoring, recruitment, parent/family/community engagement, building administrator, district administrator), higher education settings (e.g., adjunct faculty; guest speaker; advisory committee), and community settings (e.g., volunteerism; committee work; coaching).
I love working with students directly in the classroom. However, I also enjoy opportunities to collaborate with the students' family members, community members, teachers, and others whose work and concern focuses on the students.
